Membership is exclusive to women of black African/Caribbean descent who love women.

Guests are not bound by this membership criteria, however we ask that people do not obstruct the safe space of Tha Sistahood by inviting those hostile to the spirit of the event. The spirit which shapes all of our events is one of unity for those who wish to express their blackness and their sexuality.

Our events (apart from those held exclusively for members) are open to both sexes, all sexualities and all ethnicities. However, Tha Sistahood will always have the interests of black lesbians at the heart of all that we do.

What Can You Expect?

Members will receive:

• Access to our Sista Network, which (amongst other benefits) allows you to advertise with us for free
• Priority booking for all events
• Discounted entry to all events
• Members Only events
• A short comedy drama on DVD, which was featured at Atlanta’s 2004 black gay pride festival in the U.S.
